2025 - 2026 Short Course Season Practice Schedule

Coaching staff reserves the right to add or eliminate practice groups based upon need.

Titanium

  • Monday - Thursday: 4:15pm - 5:45pm
    • Drylands (Mondays and Wednesdays) 5:45am - 6:30am
      • Monday - Weights and Power Training
      • Wednesday - Speed and Reaction Training
  • Friday Swim: 5:15am-6:30am
  • Friday:
    • Option 1: Drylands: 3:30pm - 4:15pm and Swim: 4:30pm - 5:15pm
    • Option 2: Drylands: 4:30pm - 4:15pm and Swim: 5:30pm - 6:15pm

Equipment requirements: Mesh bag, kick board, short fins, pull buoy, hand paddles, snorkel, water bottle, goggles


Platinum

  • Monday - Thursday:  4:15pm - 5:45pm 
    • Drylands (Mondays and Wednesdays)  5:45am - 6:30am
      • Monday - Weights and Power Training 
      • Wednesday - Speed and Reaction Training
  • Friday: 
    • Option 1:  Drylands: 3:30pm - 4:15pm and Swim: 4:30pm - 5:15pm
    • Option 2: Drylands: 4:30pm - 4:15pm and Swim: 5:30pm - 6:15pm

Equipment requirements: Mesh bag, kick board, short fins, pull buoy, hand paddles, snorkel, water bottle, goggles.


Iron

  • Monday: Drylands: 7pm-7:20pm Swim: 7:30pm-8:30pm
  • Tuesday: Swim 7:15pm-8:30pm
  • Wednesday: Drylands: 6:45pm-7:20pm Swim: 7:30-8:30pm
  • Thursday: Swim 7:15pm-8:30pm
  • Friday:
    • Option 1: Drylands: 3:30pm - 4:15pm and Swim: 4:30pm - 5:15pm
    • Option 2: Drylands: 4:30pm - 4:15pm and Swim: 5:30pm - 6:15pm

*For Friday practice, your swimmer can choose either Option 1 or Option 2 based on what works best for your schedule. The option you choose is not set and may be changed weekly.

Recommended practices: 4-5 days per week

Equipment requirements: Mesh bag, kick board, short fins, pull buoy, water bottle, goggles.


Gold

  • Monday: Drylands: 7pm-7:20pm Swim: 7:30pm-8:30pm
  • Tuesday: Swim 7:15pm-8:30pm
  • Wednesday: Drylands: 6:45pm-7:20pm Swim: 7:30-8:30pm
  • Thursday: Swim 7:15pm-8:30pm

*For Friday practice, your swimmer can choose either Option 1 or Option 2 based on what works best for your schedule. The option you choose is not set and may be changed weekly.

Silver
  • Monday & Wednesday: 6:30pm-7:30pm
  • Tuesday & Thursday: 6:15pm-7:15pm

Recommended practices: 2-3 days per week

Blue
  • Monday & Wednesday:  5:45pm - 6:30pm

Recommended practices: 2 days per week

Equipment Requirements: mesh bag and water bottle

*Possibility for an extra practice day is possible with the wave group if their is a scheduling conflict as space provides*


Wave
  • Tuesday & Thursday: 5:45pm - 6:15pm

Recommended practices: 2 days per week

Equipment Requirements: mesh bag and water bottle

***Children under the age of 10 years old must have an adult present to be on YMCA property and participate in programs. Child drop off without proper supervision will not be permitted per YMCA policies. To provide your family with the best experience, we strongly encourage parents of all age groups to be present during practice and swim events. This allows our coaching staff the opportunity to interact with parents and provide feedback when necessary.
