Hey there Taunami Family!

We have a volunteer opportunity for our swimmers!  Our YMCA's annual Thanksgiving 5k Turkey Trot is Thanksgiving day and our swim team has always ran a water table to hand out to our runners.  I know Thanksgiving Day is a sacred one but it is also, as we all know, about giving back.  What a great opportunity for our kids to be involved with the branch in a deeper way and apart of seeing how powerful fundraising for a good cause can be! We love any opportunities our swimmers can feel immersed further in the Y mission and community! Please email me if you are interested in having your swimmer volunteer as I will be the one running the water table.  I'd love to spend the time with my swimmers! We are looking for up to about 10!  I also encourage you to sign up to run it as there is still time! The run begins at 8 am and swimmers will report a bit earlier. More details to come! Let's get together and represent our love for water at the Turkey Trot!
