BASH Swim Meet Cancelled/Policy reminders
Hey Tsunami Family,
Im afraid I have some bad news. With the rising spikes in Covid cases, the Governor of Indiana has changed their policies on group gatherings which means we cannot have our BASH swim meet next weekend. I know we are all hearing a lot of cancellations in the wake of the rising cases and I hate that we are another one. At this point, I think we've all accepted that we are all at the mercy of this pandemic in more aspects than just Tsunami so we appreciate your understanding. We hope to keep the kids spirits up with consistent practices and the notion that no matter how different life is, they're still apart of the Tsunami family and we still have goals we can work towards.
While we are on the topic of Covid policies, I'd like to put out a reminder of our distancing and mask wearing guidelines. Please make sure that if you are apart of one of our first practices of the evening, that you are not entering the building until 7:30 pm as we are doing our best to not cross over with other members and lap swimmers. This is to lessen exposure for everyone. We also need to remind the kids a lot about wearing their masks all the way up until they enter the water and immediately upon exiting the water. If you remind them as well, we can buckle down on these things to keep us all safe. We are always doing our best to keep distant from each other as hard as that is when I know for me, all I want to do is high five everyone! So please also remind your swimmers of our distancing rules. Thank you for being apart of keeping our policies enforced. As it has been noted throughout the year time and time again, we are all truly in this together.
Any further questions, Coach Cavan and myself are always here!
