Hi All! 

2020 KYCSL State Championships (March 6-8th) are right around the corner! As we look to defend our State Championship, below are some important reminders. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:

Entries are due to the meet host by Midnight Monday Feb. 24th. HOWEVER, WE will enter everyone eligible UNLESS you email me to let me know days that you CAN NOT swim   NO LATER THAN WEDNESDAY FEB. 19th!!! 

 i.e. WE expect everyone to swim at State Champs!

11&OVERS: EXPECT TO SWIM FRIDAY NIGHT!   If this is an issue, let me know ASAP.

10Unders swim in the MORNING both Sat & Sun. They may swim a total of four (4) individual events plus both relays over the course of two days.

11Overs swim in the AFTERNOON session Friday, Sat & Sun. The may swim a total of six (6) individual events plus both relays over the course of the 3 days. 

HOTEL: we blocked off rooms at the Marriott in downtown Huntington, WV (about a 25min drive to the Y) as well as the new Marriott-Delta downtown Ashland, KY. IF you have not booked your room you have until Feb. 21st for the Huntington hotel (link below. Make sure you add the correct dates when searching for a room: 3/6-3/8):

$8/day valet parking (some street parking available but plan on having to use valet)

NEW this year: ADMISSION Fee:There will be a charge of $5/adult/day and $2/child/day (children 5and under are free) OR weekend bracelets $10/adult and $5/child. Meet Workers(Timers and Officials ONLY) whose names appear on their teams pre-submitted Worker Lists will receive free admission for the day(s) they work. 

 WE are responsible for submitting lists of Meet Workers (Timers and Officials ONLY) by Wednesday, March 4th via lists organized by Sessions. So if you need an incentive to work the meet, sign up ASAP!!

Officials (and shadow officials): Please email Neil Sandefur which days/sessions you would like to shadow/work NO LATER THAN TUESDAY MARCH 3rd!  We will submit your names even if you shadow!
