Hi All! 

Way to Go Tsunami!  We just absolutely came into the Sprint meet and dominated....68 Strong!!  Beaumont had 99 swimmers at this meet.  We don't have official results just yet, but according to our calculations we are now owners of several Sprint meet records......and we were down a great many swimmers:

11-12 Girls 200 Free Relay

9-10 Boys 200 Free Relay (1st 10&Under boy Zone Cut in Tsunami history)

8&Under Boys 200 Free Relay

13-14 Girls 50 Breaststroke (a record held since 2005) & 100 IM (record held since 2004) by Olie Dabney. 

11-12 Girls 50 Butterfly by Gabby Fugate

**New for the Sprint meet this year were High Point winners.  They started to award high point winners (I have the trophies).  We won High Point for:

13-14 girl; 11-12 girls (tie) runner up; 9-10 boy; 9-10 boy & girl runner up; 8 &under girl & boy; 8Under boy runner up 

BUT most importantly, this was a VERY positive meet for Tsunami as we roll into a very big meet for us this coming weekend.  Just about all swimmers dropped time in all their events and EVERYONE swam hard, smart and with heart FOR their team!!  We have talked with the kids over the past three weeks about how they need to be positive and tell themselves they should expect swim fast when they get on the blocks and tell themselves that no matter what, I will find a way to win the close races and out touch my opponent.  Stay positive in the face of adversity.  WE not ME!! 

We are very proud of the way everyone swam yesterday at our first KYCSL all teams league meet!
